Sporting CP v Arsenal (Champions League)

Coverage of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash from the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal return to the latter stages of the competition looking to make home advantage count against a Sporting side that impressed in the previous round, knocking out higher-ranked opposition with an organised and clinical display. The two clubs last met in European competition during the 2023 Europa League, where Sporting edged through on penalties after a 3-3 aggregate draw, and another closely fought encounter is expected in north London as both sides aim to take control of the tie.

Paris Saint Germain v Liverpool (Champions League)

Coverage from the quarter-final first-leg tie from Parc des Princes. The hosts and current champions progressed through the round-of-16 stages thanks to an 8-2 hammering of Chelsea across the two legs. Liverpool didn't have it quite as easy across the two legs, however they did produce an impressive performance in the second match, winning 4-0 at Anfield to win 4-1 on aggregate

Unlike other Majors, participation at this event is by invitation only with a set criteria in place for the invitees, and the final field selected to play is the smallest of the four championships. All past winners of the Masters Tournament are among those extended an invitation, and this year will see veterans such as Fred Couples, Vijay Singh, and Mike Weir expected to join more recent winners such as Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and the man to put on the green jacket last year, Rory McIlroy.

US Masters: Day 2 (Golf)

Coverage of round two of the first Major of the year, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. England's Justin Rose remained in the lead at the halfway stage last year on eight-under, with America's Bryson DeChambeau one stroke behind him, and both Canadian Corey Conners and Northern Ireland's eventual champion Rory McIlroy one shot further back. At the other end of the leaderboard, notable players to miss the cut included Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia.

West Ham United v Wolves (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match from The London Stadium. The visitors finally picked up their first league victory of the season in the reverse fixture at the start of January, thanks to an impressive 3-0 win at Molineux. Three first-half goals put Wolves in control of the game against a poor West Ham side as their earnt their first three points in the top flight at the 20th time of asking.

The hosts came through a tough game in the reverse fixture in early January thanks to a 3-2 win. Declan Rice's second-half brace was just about enough to give Mikel Arteta's side all three points, as they hung on to their one-goal lead for the final 14 minutes.

Coverage of round three of the first Major of the year, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Eventual champion Rory McIlroy's second successive six-under round of 66 saw him end day three last year in the lead, with Bryson DeChambeau two strokes behind him in second place, and round two leader Justin Rose dropping down to a share of sixth place affter carding a disappointing three-over 75

Liverpool v Fulham (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match from Anfield. Harrison Reed scored an incredible equaliser in the reverse fixture back in January to earn the London club a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage. Harry Wilson had opened the scoring for Marco Silva's side before second-half goals from Florian Wirtz and Cody Gakpo had turned the game on its head. Gakpo had looked like he'd scored the winner in the 94th minute before Reed's screamer went in the corner corner in the 97th minute to give Fulham a well-deserved point.

Sunderland v Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match at the Stadium of Light. Brian Brobbey's equaliser 10 minutes from time ensured the Black Cats left the capital with a point after a 1-1 draw when the teams met in the reverse fixture in January, and while that was a disappointing result for Spurs, at the time it left them 13 points clear of the bottom three.

Crystal Palace v Newcastle United (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Selhurst Park. Second-half goals from captain Bruno Guimaraes and Malick Thiaw gave the Magpies all three points when the sides met in the reverse fixture in January, in a hard-fought 2-0 victory at St James' Park.

Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa (Premier League)

Round three leader Rory McIlroy stuttered slightly on the final day last year, carding a one-over 73, while Justin Rose produced an excellent round of 66 to force a play-off. However, it was McIlroy who eventually claimed victory and became only the sixth golfer to complete a Career Grand Slam after Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

Chelsea v Manchester City (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match from Stamford Bridge. The visitors will be desperate for a victory here as they look to keep putting pressure on Arsenal in the title race. Chelsea are also in need of the three points as they look to get their bid for a Champions League place back on track after successive defeats in the Premier League against Everton and Newcastle.
