Welcome to The Rose and Crown, Welwyn Village.

The Rose and Crown is a 17th Century Grade ll Listed building, and former coach house.
The first registered Innkeeper was Mr Joseph Brand in 1839, with the pub being run by the Brand family for the next 50 years.

The Barn @ The Rose and Crown is one of the oldest redbrick buildings in the village, and has benefited a major refurbishment in 2021, now operating as a wonderful function space for the pub.

With a lively and sociable atmosphere, The Rose and Crown boasts a main bar area, sports bar showing Sky and BT Sport, large garden and terrace area, heated garden pods and covered smoking area.

We have a wide range of lagers, cask ales, ciders and craft beers on draught. With an extensive wine, gin and spirit list too, we’re sure you’ll find something just for you here at The Rose and Crown.We have an incredible new menu full of homemade pub classics, and also serve homemade roasts every Sunday.
